No news yet- but NEW PICTURES!

Well not much has changed in the status of our case yet. The lawyer assigned to our case in Guatemala is working on getting the DNA test authorized. This is done at the US Embassy in Guatemala. Unfortunately they are having some policy issues at the Embassy and the lawyers (or a clerk they send) are having to spend hours and hours in line at the Embassy to submit paperwork. We were expecting a medical update sometime this week or next, as they babies are taken in monthly to see a doctor and have their pictures taken. We thought that might come next week at the earliest. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked my email on Tuesday to find new pictures. They weren't from the medical update (still expecting that next week), but were some other pictures taken when she was 3 1/2 weeks. They are on the website if you want to see them!
It has been quite a week around here as David has not been well and now it seems that Steven and I are coming down with it too! Today is David's 5th birthday! He is such a joy and blessing to our lives! Happy Birthday, David!
